Mike O'Halloran

I write fantasy for children about listening, friendship, and the difference between hearing something and understanding it.

My first novel, Ellie and the Whispering Tree, began as a bedtime story for my daughter and grew into a world of its own: a village called Caorann Hollow, an ancient tree with something to say, and the children who stop long enough to hear it.
